ABOUT
The label started in my old dorm room with a strong DIY foundation focused on community and art. Six years later, SDR has released 50+ albums from local, national, and international bands, ranging in genres from punk/hardcore to indie and alternative-rock.
BRANDING
The Sunday Drive Records logo was designed in a sketchbook during summer school. The goal was to visualize a "Sunday Drive" in the most minimal way possible, which is done by these few strokes and circle. After multiple iterations, this is the final version of the logo that is used on everything today—still true to its original design and versatile to use in a wordmark or by itself.
WEB
Custom web design and slight development for the current SDR site and e-commerce webstore. Built with Limited Run and currently in the process of a redesign.
PACKAGING
A selection of various album art and layout designs I've helped put together for vinyl, cassette, and CD releases.
APPAREL
Selection of band merch I have designed to accompany releases.
Ad design used to promo SDR apparel during a spring sale.
SOCIAL
The presence of branding across socials used to keep everyone up to date on news and releases, across different formats of content.
LISTENING
Aside from releases from the label, SDR also curates playlists and produces audio/video podcasts to highlight other creatives in our DIY community.
